My baby is 2!!!

I can not believe Sawyer turned 2 yesterday! It was one of my best weekends ever! Saturday night Alvin and I took Sawyer to Chuckie Cheese and he loved it, we had a great time. Sunday we had a small birthday party that was very nice. I even made Sawyer a Cookie Monster cake! He loved all his gifts. Alvin and I got him Elmo Live and a basketball hoop. We love him so much, he has made the last two years of our lives awesome!

First Snow!

I just came in from outside and we are experiencing our first good snow of the winter! I don't think Sawyer remembers snow, since he is in total awe and having a ball with dada!

Playing with Ellie!

Precious.

I have to get all my pre-2 year old pictures in while I can, since I have one more week of my baby being one years old.

History has been made!

I woke up today with a new sense of hope and pride in my country. I am so happy and so excited to be witnessing Barack Obama as our President-elect. It was a great run, and an even greater victory. I look forward to the next four years with MY PRESIDENT! :)

My President?

So the question arises, will I be able to call the newly elected President of the United States my President? I know you are wondering what the heck I am talking about, right? Well for the last 8 years I have always said 'your President' when referring to GWB. If Barack Obama wins tomorrow I will finally, again, be able to say 'my President'. If he loses, its another 4 years of 'your President'.
I am watching a couple of races and issues on the ballot throughout the US. Of course, the president is on there. But also Prop 8 in Cali and the ban on gay marriage in 2 other states, Florida and Arizona. Man, I hope they don't pass. And down in lovely Arkan-sas, they are trying to ban gay couples from adopting children. Are you kidding me? How ridiculous. Go to a loving home that will provide you with a warm bed, lots of food, and shelter? Nope not if the couple is gay, because we are all afarid of the gays down here in Arkan-sas. I can't belive the state that gave us my homeboy Bill Clinton is actually considering this garbage. And up in MI they are trying to pass medical marijuana. Way to go Blue! Finally, something right this year!
Most importantly, get your a$$ out of bed and go vote. Although I don't need to be at school until 8am tomorrow, this girly is getting up and out to the polls at 6am. If I get done early, I am all over some Panera! HAPPY ELECTION DAY!!

Halloween Pictures!

Halloween '08 was so much fun! Sawyer did so good going up to the houses and holding his pail out! For only going to about 10 houses, he made out in the candy department!
